Danny Orr the former Castleford captain will be returning to his old club, the Castleford Tigers, for the 2011 season. Half back Orr has spent the last four seasons at Harlequins.
Hull FC are suffering from injuries to Richard Whiting who has been ruled out of the rest of the season with a broken arm, winger Mark Calderwood is also likely to be out too with a hamstring injury.
Four players will be facing the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary committee as a result of the brawl that broke out during the Hull derby. Liam Watts, Ben Cockayne, Sam Moa and Danny Tickle and have all been charged with grade B offences for fighting at the KC Stadium last Thursday.
Construction of the new St. Helens stadium has finally been given the go ahead. The 18,000 capacity stadium will be built on the site of the towns former glassworks. The stadium will incorporate a 3,000 sq ft community facility for youth activities run by the local authority and a 1,600-capacity banqueting suite, the project also includes a superstore with pedestrian links into the town centre.
